Leroy Strubberg – Professional Achievements

Was the 1990 Accountant of the Year for the National Society of Public Accountants.

Was the National Society of Public Accountants State Director 1972-1976. He received the Outstanding Director Award in 1976.

He served on the IRS Commissioners Advisory Committee in 1987; one of twelve individuals appointed annually from 50 states.

During 1993-94 he served as Chairman of the National Society of Public Accountants Federal Taxation Committee and testified twice before congress.

He served on the Board of Directors of the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation seven years and as President five years from 1988-1992.

He was chosen in 1991 to appear in New York on a half hour live television broadcast on FNN News to discuss tax issues.

He was a long standing member of the Missouri Society of Accountants. He served on the state board twelve years and was State President 1974-1975 and St. Louis Chapter President 1973-1974.

He received the Missouri Society of Accountants President's Award for Outstanding Service in 1978 and
1990.

He received the Missouri Society of Accountants Outstanding Achievement Award in 1985.

He was chosen to be the St. Louis IRS District Director and served on the Liaison Committee four years.
He also served on the Kansas City IRS Service Center Liaison Committee two years.
He was elected as President of the National Society of Accountants in August 1996.
He was appointed to the National Society of Accountants Executive Committee in August 1997.

He served as Chairman of the Insurance Committee 2002-2003
